Antonia Moulin, a French laywoman, had suffered for years from tubercular coxalgia of the hip and an associated chronic non-healing ulcerative wound of the same leg. Multiple physicians had judged the condition irreversible.
She came to Lourdes on the August 1907 pilgrimage. Bathed in the piscines she was instantly cured: the hip mobility returned, the ulceration closed, and she walked normally. The Lourdes Medical Bureau followed the case and it was recognised by the local ordinary as one of the cures of the official list.
