Life

Christopher (Italian Cristoforo) was born around 1410 at Milan. He entered the Dominican Order at Milan and became one of the principal late-15th-century Dominican Observant preachers of northern Italy.

In 1460, Christopher undertook the reform of the Dominican Convent of Santa Maria del Canneto at Taggia in Liguria — producing the strict Observant discipline. He served as prior of the Taggia convent until his death in 1484.

He died at Taggia on March 1, 1484.
