In 1869 at the small parish of Boherbuoy in the Limerick region, a tabernacle fire destroyed the wooden cabinet and altar furnishings. The consecrated hosts within were found undamaged in the wreckage. The bishop of Limerick approved the local cult. The case is one of the few Irish Eucharistic phenomena documented in St. Carlo Acutis's catalogue.
